Nevada attorney Royi Moas in the firm’s wage and hour class action department, recently settled a Nevada Minimum Wage Lawsuit for over $1.0 million on behalf of over 500 hourly employees that were paid below $8.25 per hour in Nevada. The suit alleged violation of the Nevada Minimum Wage Amendment which required employers to pay employees no less than $8.25 per hour.  Class Action Representatives were current and former employees of the company who came forward and retained the firm on behalf of the entire class of workers. The District Court approved final settlement and the class action third party administrator is in the process of distributing settlement checks to the employees.
