Wolf, Rifkin, Shapiro, Shulman & Rabkin, LLP attorneys, Matthew Wolf and Max Wellman, represented progressive merchandising and eCommerce company, Top Drawer Merch/Electric Family, in a transaction with EMPIRE, the leading independent label, distributor and publishing company.  Empire acquired a majority stake in Top Drawer Merch/Electric Family in order to bolster its in-house merchandising division, as Top Drawer Merch has already provided products and services to some of the world’s biggest music festivals, such as Coachella, Stagecoach, EDC, and Ultra, and artists such as ACDC, Kaskade, J Balvin, Illenium, and many more. Together EMPIRE and Top Drawer Merch will continue to develop advanced technology to enhance the way customers interact and purchase merchandise via eCommerce and touring. Both companies, built on the backbone of proprietary technology, will cross-pollinate data to better serve artists merchandising needs and deliver premium services across a wide range of industries and music genres.
