AREAS OF PRACTICE
Eric Westlund is a partner in the litigation department of Wolf, Rifkin, Shapiro, Schulman & Rabkin, LLP, specializing in complex commercial litigation. Mr. Westlund represents both defendants and plaintiffs in high-stakes disputes, with a focus on Employment and Media & Entertainment matters as well as a wide variety of business disputes. He has litigated in state and federal court at the trial and appellate levels, and he has extensive experience in contractual arbitration as well as pre-litigation dispute resolution and counseling. Mr. Westlund works closely with his clients to craft practical legal solutions to real-world problems, bringing a results-oriented approach to litigation with an emphasis on persuasive written advocacy, targeted discovery, and big-picture strategic thinking.
Originally from Tigard, Oregon, Eric attended Northwestern Law in Chicago and has practiced at well-regarded Los Angeles-area litigation firms since 2013. Prior to law school, Eric studied Chemistry and Philosophy at Pepperdine University. Outside of the legal arena, Eric relishes applying the same strategic acumen and intellectual rigor in the realms of chess, poker, and sports analytics.
