Jordan Butler, a partner in the Las Vegas office at Wolf, Rifkin, Shapiro, Schulman & Rabkin, recently obtained an O-1B Visa on behalf of Andrea Petkovic, a former WTA Top 10 tennis player from Germany who has embarked on a successful second career as a versatile multimedia journalist and television presenter, in order to work as a live studio analyst for Tennis Channel at the company’s headquarters in Santa Monica, California.

The O-1B Visa classification applies to individuals in the motion picture and television industry who have demonstrated extraordinary achievement to the extent that they are recognized as prominent and leading in the industry.

Drawing on the strength of Ms. Petkovic’s dynamic résumé, which includes awards in television, as host of a popular German sports news show; and, recognition among the Best American Sports Writing as a contributor to Racquet Magazine, Mr. Butler was able to establish that Ms. Petkovic had performed in critical roles for distinguished organizations, achieved international recognition for her achievements, and possessed a record of critically acclaimed success in the field.
